Self-service skills
A preschooler should not only be able to serve himself, but also help his parents around the house. Among the household skills that he should possess are the following:
🔹wash yourself (wash your hands, feet, wash), take a shower, brush your teeth;
🔹wash shoes, put clothes in the closet;
🔹keep order in your room;
🔹take care of a pet;
🔹set the table, wash the dishes;
Help adults cook (cut and grate vegetables, peel potatoes);
🔹 make the bed;
🔹hang up and take off your underwear;
🔹Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors;
🔹watering the flowers;
🔹collect fruits, vegetables, berries in the country, pick grass;
to help parents with younger siblings.
The more household skills a child has, the better. Starting from preschool age, you need to teach your child to do housework. It is necessary to allocate certain responsibilities to him, which he will regularly perform. This will help to develop discipline and responsibility.
